This week Raccoons talked about the USA! They used the globe to find where we are and what we are close to. We showed the children various maps of the world and of the United States to differentiate between other countries and ours. The Raccoons discussed how many states make up the United States and what colors are on our flag! The teachers explained what it means to live in a free country and how wonderful and privaleged we are to live in the U.S. and in Montana!
The Raccoons made red and blue spiral hangings out of paper plates and bald eagles with their hands:)
