The First Week of School

New faces and new friends and even new staff are now here at The Children's Center!  Mrs. Beverly,  is our new assistant Teacher for our ep (early preschool) class and Miss Ashley is our new aide.  



The kiddos are learning fast and adjusting well!  In the early preschool the children are learning each others names and learning the rules and the schedule of the classroom. They are learning to stay seated on their mats and how to share and talk nicely with friends.  We revisit manners and how to be polite and proper many times throughout the day to remind them and make it a good habit.  

The children are learning how to identify their names by their name tags placed where they are to be seated for breakfast and lunch. Everyday we are working on our gross motor skills, fine motor skills, drama/imagination, art, language, math, science and so much more!

The early preschool class is becoming more and more comfortable each day.  To see the children smiling, laughing, and learning is a blessing in disguise. Our childhood is so important in so many ways and The Children's Center is dedicated to making it a special and memorable experience.
