Theme of the Week: Fairy Tales and Nursery Rhymes!

This week we are learning about fairy tales and nursery rhymes! We will be reading some great stories and creating some characters from some of them, like Humpty Dumpty. The kids will be acting out some stories and singing songs. We will also be writing our own fairy tale. Each child will be able to add their own idea to the story. It will be put up for everyone to see! :)

The EP has just recently started doing words of the day! (not every single day, it is just for fun).
The first words will go along with whichever letter of the week it is and the second will be chosen at random.

Last weeks words: Ripe and Carpenter

We spell it out, read the definition, read it in a sentence and then try to think of other words that start with R or C.

Each time it will be different, putting some meaning to words that they hear in everyday life.
