Theme of the Week: People of the World

This week we are talking about people around the world. We are discussing how people are different and the same, and how it's good to have diversity. We are talking about different cultures and traditions, types of clothing and the different places that people live. We are making little people and have made hair and hats for the children to choose from to put on their person to decorate. We are showing the children that in different places around the world, people dress differently, act differently, and simply live differently. We will also be writing our own fairy tale. Each child will be able to add their own idea to the story. It will be put up for everyone to see! :)

The EP has just recently started doing words of the day! (not every single day, it is just for fun).
The first words will go along with whichever letter of the week it is and the second will be chosen at random.

Last weeks words: Ripe and Carpenter

We spell it out, read the definition, read it in a sentence and then try to think of other words that start with R or C.

Each time it will be different, putting some meaning to words that they hear in everyday life.
