Theme of the Week: Pets!

This week we have been talking all about pets! We have been discussing what kind of pets we have at home and what kinds of pets we wish we had! We talked about what our favorite things were about each animal and how to take care of them and treat them well and with love and respect. Our pets are apart of our family and we love our pets very much. For our art project we made some Clifford faces and read a lot of pet stories.

Theme of the Week: Spring and Gardening!

Spring is finally here!! The sun is coming out more now, our winter coats and boots are put away and summer is well on its way! This week's theme was all about Spring and Gardening.  The EP class has been reading lots of new gardening and spring time stories like:

  • "RAH RAH Radishes"
  • "Otto Carrotto"
  • "From the Garden"
  • "The Enormous Potato"
  • "A Little Story About a Big Turnip"

On Monday we will be doing some of our own gardening! We watched the bigger kids plant their vegetables in the garden on Friday and the EP class is very excited to start ours on Monday!

We made pictures and decorated little glass jars to start growing our plants!
