Spring : )

We have been waiting for Spring and it is finally here! Still pretty cold but it is getting warmer! This last week the kids learned all about Spring. The kids talked about how the seasons change and what happens in Spring.

They talked about baby animals being born right now and which are their favorites! They also discussed planting gardens and how Spring brings new flowers. The kids read a lot of stories on baby animals and seeds.

They made golf ball paintings (used golf balls to roll around on the paper and paint pictures). The Raccoons also made catepillars out of egg cartons and flowers out of cupcake liners! We have been going outside twice a day since the weather has picked up and it has been needed for all of us: )

We will be planting our garden when the weather gets a bit warmer and we will be planting vegetables and flowers! We have some ideas but if you would like to help or have any ideas yourself please let us know!

This week is all about Farms! We will be talking about what kinds of animals live on farms and what the animals help to provide for us. We will be playing with our farm and listening to the different sounds the animals make!
