Theme of the Week: Colors!

September 24-28

The Raccoon's learned all about the primary colors and how mixing them can create our secondary colors that we have like purple, green and orange! The children mixed dyed water together to see the color changes!

The smoke has let up a bit and the children have been able to go out for recess again! This is so important and beneficial for everyone. The children have been able to release a lot of that high energy and have been having a blast outside!

The Raccoon's went on a field trip on Friday to the public library to listen to story time! On the walk we worked on field trip rules and manners: Turning off our voices, only walking (no jumping or running), and waving thank you when the cars stop as we cross the street. Also, the "stop, look, and listen" concept.
