A Great End to the Week

Ms. Julie led the EP class on Friday!
The kids did very well adapting to a semi-new face and did excellent listening and walking together on our short field trip around the block! We went to a big circle area near the train tracks and let them run in circles until they were falling down laughing and breathing hard from exhaustion. The held onto multi-colored rings and walked in a single file line with Julie at the front and Ms. Ashley following behind. We made sure to keep our fingers on our lips to remind us to keep quiet when crossing the street together.

*A sunflower bloomed in our garden! We are also growing, carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, corn, squash, and more! (Which Ms. Stephanie, our chef, uses in our lunches!)

Ms. Julie brought old cartridges of film filled with different scents for the kids to smell. She showed the EP a squishy spider and poky shell and they talked about how they felt in their hands. She also brought bubble wrap that was donated by UPS on Broadway for the class to see, hear, and touch.  They went crazy popping all the bubbles.

In the afternoon we had tumble time. We have some great little gymnasts at our school!

Have a great weekend!!
